They really don't, but the pounding the GL gets isn't much worse than the rest of his teammates are getting barely a moment later.
"All of us versus four of you," the leader gloats. "Look upon it as a privilege. Of everyone on Earth, you'll be the first to go."
Stars explode before Hal's eyes as one of the agents lands a vicious blow. But before he has a chance to wonder if the man might be right, there's a loud crash from above!
